Rules of the Isle of Tabor:

General Rules:

The Isle of Tabor is a roleplay room based off of the books created and written by John Norman. This room will follow as closely as possible to the books within reason. The Isle of Tabor was only mentioned in the book, so as far as the 'image' of the Isle it has been created in the minds eye of the Administrator. This site was created for the Administrator and is the property of the Isle of Tabor.

Any issues regarding the room will be dealt with by the Administrator. He is the one who runs the Isle and oversees the running of the Isle.

If there is issues pertaining to the room in general, or a complaint against the room, the Gorean Council can be reached on the Sizzling Chat message board.

This again, is a roleplay room, this is not a place to look for someone to date, if you seek that, please find another wonderful section on Sizzling Chat to do as such.

Free Male Rules:

Gor is a Man's world, and such will be the same in The Isle of Tabor.

A Free Male has the right to at any time collar a Free Woman if they so chose to do as such, please be aware of this, Gor may not be fair, and Gor may not be fun, but Gor is harsh, always remember this.

Free Males are expected to defend the home if at such time the home would fall under attack in any way.

IF the Administrator is not available, or one of the Council, the next Free male, according to Caste will be the one sought out if there is a problem within the room.

A Free male has the right to claim their mate, at that time He has the right to decide or not if they wish to have a Free Companion Ceremony.

Any Free Male within the room has the right to collar new slaves, all new slaves will be placed into {IoT} collar until they can be evaluated.

All members of The Isle of Tabor, will do chores, it helps in the creation of roleplay as well as enchance the visual created within the room for others, Members or guests alike.

Always remember, Gold, Steel and Honor is the highest codes of Gor, even above the caste codes, live by them, and die honorably by them.

Free Women Rules:

Your freedom is given at the will of the Male, know and understand this..at ANY time, You can find yourself in steel, for good reason, or not, it is their choice.

Free Women do not have to be veiled as this is a merchants Isle, but please, know if you wear an ava that could represent or suggest the desire to be in collar, it is again, the right of the Free male to do as such.

Free women are expected to help in the running of the Isle, just as all do chores, they are to do them as well.

If a Free Woman owns a shop, they are to tend to it and report to the Administrator as need be.

slave Rules:

Any slave on the Isle of Tabor will not travel, this is an Isle, you can not just come and go as you wish.

slaves will do chores, 3 chores a week are expected, at the end of the week the chores will be tallied and posted. If you have real time, we do understand, just please let one of the trainers know. Real time always before roleplay.

If you have a problem, please bring it to the attention of a trainer before speaking to the Kajira Coordinator, or a Free Male.

You can make the collar as light or as heavy as you like, but please know, we are here to help you along, and as with anything, everyone does not always get along, but keeping the lines of communication open will help this along. If there is truly a conflict, speak to someone OOC about it and will see what can be done to help. This is a roleplay room and ment to be fun and enjoyable. We will never keep one here against their will.

When entering the room, you will greet the Administrator first and then your personal owner, and then the Free men of the council and then the Free Women, following that, the Free Men of the Isle, and the Free Women, then, sisters and brothers.

While you do not need to ask permission to enter, permission to leave is excepted to be asked, if you have a real time, then go, but please remember to post upon your return or to the message board about such. If you do not once or twice is acceptable, but if it becomes a problem, then the Administrator will address the issue.

If you are in need of training, please contact one of the trainers on the board using the messenger system and try to set up a time to train and test.

The most important rule though is: You are but a slave, and live at the will of your owner. Even slaves have honor and pride, let it shine in your beauty and grace.
